If you are a writer, a painter, a director or any type of an artist, that uses information that already exists to generate newer ideas, you might be intimidated by Creative-AI. You might be saying “IT IS NOT REAL ART!!!”. You are right ….. and wrong. This short article might tickle your creative mind, hopefully, and encourage you to expand your potential.

What is Creative-AI — Skip If You Know Already
Definition
Creative AI refers to the use of AI to generate new, original ideas or concepts, rather than simply replicating existing ones.
There are different successful creative AI models that you can use without any technical skills to Generate Images, Songs, Scripts, Articles, and Designs (Each is independent) by simply expressing yourself to the model that generates the content it is specialized in.

“What Do I Do? It Is Just Not Real Art!”
Well, being ‘real art’ or not is a philosophical argument. We could argue about this for hours over a glass of beer or a cup of tea. However, there are two actions that you are responsible to choose from.
Action 1 — Grow Your Toolbox And Your Potential
You may look at Creative-AI as not real art, while still seeing it as an early adopter of the most powerful tool in any artist’s toolbox.
You and your unique experiences, knowledge, messages you want to spread, and uniquely creative mind will use it as a tool to achieve something greater …. a bigger picture. It depends on who you are and what you want to achieve, but you might end up using AI in the most creative way possible to achieve your artistic vision. Someone else might just use it as an idea generator. Another artist might visualize different concepts using AI for inspiration.
Remember that all AI does is generating content that seems like a human made that content. It doesn’t have any artistic intentions or dreams like the ones you have! It can be your tool, or your reason for resentment as an old angry man. So you’d better learn what’s relevant to what you want and your purpose.
Action 2 — Never Change Until You Become Irrelevant
You know that the openness personality trait (in the big five traits) is highly correlated with creativity. So, if artists are creative, they are more likely to be high in openness. I would expect many of them to find ways to grow using these new tools. Many will be taking Action 1.
While others wouldn’t be able to keep up. They’ll lose a lot of their own potential. They’ll be criticizing artists who adapt and are open. They’ll not be as appealing to the audience as they wish. They will not change the world or make an impact. They’ll become history … and training data for AI models to consume!
Conclusion
The world is changing faster than ever. I think you should be already using your creativity to find ways of taking advantage of these new free or cheap technologies. Imagine what you would be capable of doing without a team. Imagine what new genres, directions, stories, or concepts you can show to the world that would have never come into existence without your knowledge, experience, philosophies, goals, personality, joy, and miseries! AI alone wouldn’t have done it.
